Where our information comes from

An eSIM comparison is only helpful when you can tell what a claim is based on. We separate plan details, network information, published performance data and traveler feedback because they answer different questions.

Plan prices and terms

We use provider plan information to show advertised prices, data, validity, covered destinations and features such as hotspot or top-ups. We display a price-check time where available. Prices and terms may change after that check; the provider’s checkout and current terms are the final details to review before buying.

If a provider does not clearly confirm a feature, we should mark it as not confirmed rather than guess.

Local networks and coverage

A travel eSIM may connect through one or more local networks. We use provider information to identify a plan’s network partners where that information is available. Network coverage maps and reports help explain likely service areas, but no map can guarantee a signal at a particular address, indoors or along every route.

A country being included in a plan is also different from every part of that country being covered. Check the provider’s destination list and any exclusions for the places you intend to visit.

Published speed benchmarks

When we show download speed, upload speed or latency, we identify the original report, publisher, location or country, metric and reporting period alongside the figures. These are published network benchmarks unless we explicitly say eSIMzo carried out its own test.

A native mobile-network benchmark is context for comparing local operators. It is not a measured speed for a specific roaming eSIM, and it is not a guarantee of your experience.

Traveler feedback

A traveler’s report can reveal problems a plan table cannot, such as a difficult activation or a connection that failed on arrival. We keep that feedback distinct from provider terms and measured performance data. We should describe a review as verified only when its underlying experience has actually been checked.
