Privacy Notice

This notice explains what happens to personal information when you visit eSIMzo, send us a message or submit a traveler review. We have written it in plain language so you can see what we collect, why we need it and what choices you have.

Who is responsible for your information?

eSIMzo is operated by the individual trading as eSIMzo. Company registration is pending, so this notice refers to that trading name rather than a limited company. You can contact us at partner@esimzo.com or write to 6 Smart Street, Manchester M12 4NX, United Kingdom.

What information do we collect?

Messages you send us

When you use our contact form or email us, we receive your email address, the details you choose to provide and the content of your message. We use this information to answer you, investigate a correction or consider a suggestion. Please do not send passwords, payment-card numbers or eSIM activation QR codes.

Traveler reviews

If you submit a review, we receive the details requested by the review form, such as a display name, email address, provider, plan, destination, date of use, rating and account of your experience. We may ask for limited evidence to check that a review describes genuine use. We do not publish your email address or verification evidence. Your chosen display name and approved review may be visible to other visitors.

Technical information

When you load a page, our website and API hosting providers process technical request information, which may include your IP address, browser type, requested page and time of access. This is used to deliver the website, diagnose problems and protect it from abuse. Host access logs are retained only as long as needed for security and operations (typically up to 30 days unless an incident requires a longer review). We do not run analytics, advertising pixels or behavior-tracking tools on eSIMzo pages. If that changes, we will update this notice before enabling them.

Why do we use it?

We use contact information to respond to you and keep eSIMzo accurate. We use technical information to operate and secure the site. The lawful basis for these activities is our legitimate interest in running a useful, secure comparison service and answering people who contact us. We use review submissions to assess authenticity (legitimate interest) and, where we publish a review, we do so with your permission (consent), which you can withdraw by contacting us.

Who do we share it with?

We use service providers that process information only as needed to run eSIMzo: website hosting and content delivery, application/API hosting, managed database storage for contact messages and plan data, and managed cache or job-queue infrastructure. They act on our instructions and must not use your information for their own marketing. When you follow a link to an eSIM provider, you leave eSIMzo. The provider or an affiliate network may receive referral information carried in that link and will handle your purchase under its own privacy notice. We do not take your payment-card details at provider checkout.

How long do we keep it?

We keep ordinary enquiries for up to 12 months after the last meaningful exchange, unless an issue requires a longer record. Unpublished review submissions are deleted or anonymised within 90 days of the moderation decision. Published reviews remain while they are relevant, subject to correction or removal requests. Verification evidence is kept only while a review is under assessment and for up to 90 days after the decision. Technical host logs follow the periods described above.

Is information processed outside the UK?

Our hosting, database and infrastructure providers may process information in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area and other countries, including the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Standard Contractual Clauses, together with the provider’s security measures.

Your rights and choices

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct or erase your information, restrict its use or object to processing. If we rely on consent for a particular use, you can withdraw it. Email partner@esimzo.com and tell us what you need; we may ask for information to verify your request. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office at https://ico.org.uk/.
